WHO IS ALANA?

ALANA is a singer-songwriter living in Los Angeles, CA. The Brazilian-American artist is quick to cite Taylor Swift as one of her biggest influences and the reason why she picked up a guitar in the first place. ALANA has been strumming her guitar and writing songs since the age of 12, and pushed herself to release original music in 2019 with her debut single American Honey drawing from the glamour of old-school Hollywood.

Following the release of her first single, ALANA took time to develop her sound working with producers Joey Wunsch (Norah Jones, James Bay, Grace VanderWaal, Lolo Zouai), Guy Furious (ZAYN, Andrew Belle, Snakehips), and Joe Endozo (Ari Lennox, Charlene Kaye, Sean McVerry, Amira B., Hot Fun).

Growing up in New York and attending Cornell University, where she studied Film and English, heavily influenced the cinematic energy and poetic lyricism behind her music.

Her newest project Gold Star is a four-track mellow pop soundscape with savvy lyrics and soft underlying instrumentals.
